The Elizabeth Holden Gallery is thrilled to announce an exhibition of recent work by Warren Wilson College Art Department Alumni. The exhibition will be on display from September 2nd – October 5th, 2023. A closing reception will be on Friday, October 4th from 3:00 pm to 5:00pm to kickstart WWC Homecoming. This open call will accept submissions until May 1st, 2024. This show will honor the creative work and stories of Warren Wilson art alumni and provide a network for alums to reconnect.  As part of the closing event, there will be Meet and Greet with the artists. Please join us at the reception to celebrate the artists and to hear more about their process and work!

Submission Info

We encourage artists working in all mediums to submit one work. Please respond with your intent to show and an attached image of your work you would like to show along with a short bio (max 300 words) no later than May 31st, 2024. Submission images must not exceed the resolution of 300 dpi and a length greater than 1500 pixels in any one direction. All artwork submitted must be original work created since graduation. Please include the title, medium, and dimensions when submitting. We also ask that you provide a short bio and brief statement about your work and process. There is no size limitation for submissions, but please bear in mind that the artist is responsible for its transport to and from the gallery. We ask that all work submitted be ready to exhibit; finished work that's framed or prepared with appropriate hanging equipment. Finished work will need to arrive at the gallery by August 15, 2024. Work should be either delivered in person or shipped in packaging that can be reused with prepaid return shipping included to the following address:
